How a standard is constructed.
The role is split into the various aspects, in each standard skill statement begins with “You must be able to…” and for knowledge statements, it starts with “You must know and understand…”
For example, a skill statement might be: “You must be able to select, check, and wear the right personal protective equipment (PPE) for the job.” And its corresponding knowledge statement: “You must know and understand how to choose, inspect, and use the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the task.”

Changes to the standards based on feedback will be listed here. Live change log: Developing capability: Typo in K11. HR policies added to performance and knowledge. Wording on P13 updated. Protecting the environment: Typo corrected in K21, updated P5, P18, p25, K2, K3, K16 and K17. K11 has a query over its relevance.
